“Vicini Americani” translates to American Neighbors. The purpose of Vicini Americani was to connect Americans living in the area to their local community (comuné). The community I represented was Fontanafredda, Italy. During Spring 2013 there were festivals everywhere including Festa della Ricotta. I collaborated with a dear friend dear friend Teresa Colors to organize a Guided Cheese Tour at the Caseificio Soc. Coop. Fontanafredda. The event was a success with at least 30 families connecting with a local business in Fontanafredda.
